2. Providing the website

This website is hosted by IONOS. When you visit, technical access data is processed, including your IP address, the requested page or file, the time of access, and browser and device information. This supports the delivery, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

According to IONOS, visitor data is stored in anonymised form and retained for eight weeks. This also includes the previously visited page, operating system and device type. IONOS provides access statistics based on this data. Further information is available in IONOS’s data protection information.

3. Contact and archive enquiries

If you contact us by email, we process your contact details and message exclusively to deal with your enquiry. These may include your name, email address, information about your instrument and any photographs you send us.

The archive enquiry form initially prepares an email only in your browser. It does not transmit your entries to a form database. The message is sent only when you send it from your email application. No payment is taken on the website.

For enquiries relating to an order or steps prior to entering into a contract, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to your message under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where consent is required and given, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applies.

4. Recipients and retention

Service providers may process data where necessary for the technical operation of the website or email communications. Data may also be disclosed where we are legally required to do so.

We delete the data you provide once it is no longer needed to deal with your enquiry. Statutory retention obligations and necessary retention for establishing, exercising or defending legal claims remain unaffected. In these cases, processing is restricted to those purposes.

5. Cookies, fonts and external content

The code of this website does not set cookies or embed analytics or advertising scripts such as Google Analytics. Technical logging by the hosting provider is described in section 2. Google Maps and YouTube are not embedded. Images and supplied font files are loaded directly from this website.

If you open an external link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies to the website you visit.

6. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time, with effect for the future.

Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, please contact info@ibach.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

7. Updates

We update this policy when the website or our data processing changes.
